See the impressive views at Big Bend National Park with my self published zine and landscape photography prints!
The vastly isolated region offers a variety of geological features such as Santa Elena Canyon, the Chisos Mountains and the northern stretch of the living Chihuahan Desert. A wide range of wildlife, insects and desert flora thrive in the largely uninhabitable area. The Rio Grande, the lifeblood of the ecosystem, acts as a natural border between Texas and Mexico.
The zine includes a fictional short story about the life of a modest family living in the desolate region and their resilient nature. The story sheds light on themes of faith, love and survival. Read about their familial bond and the struggles they encounter on their harsh homeland.
